Aircraft transformed travel not merely because they were reusable but because they could fly again within hours. Turnaround time, not just reuse, is what separates a transportation system from a series of expensive demonstrations.

Achieving rapid turnaround means designing for it: engines that tolerate reuse without teardown, structures that do not need lengthy inspection, and avionics that report their own health so refurbishment is targeted, not exploratory.
